The 34AW are NEMA size 34, External Linear or Non-Captive Linear Actuators. They are high quality, self contained packages made with long-life shielded ball bearings. For Non-Captive, when the motor is fixed and the lead screw is restricted from rotating, the lead screw will travel; by contrast, when the lead screw is fixed and the motor is restricted from rotating, the motor will travel. The External Linear models have a fixed motor with a turning lead screw. The 34AW series offers a 4.5 Voltage and Current of 3 Amps. The standard 34AW series comes with a 6, 12, or 18 inch lead screw, offered in 4 lead and pitch options. Lead screws have a 5/8" diameter. Lead screws (thru or fixed) are available with custom journal end machining to customer drawing requirements.
